    公佈《中華人民共和國澳門特別行政區政府與泰王國政府互免簽證協定》

    行政長官根據澳門特別行政區第3/1999號法律第六條第一款及第五條(二)項的規定,命令公佈《中華人民共和國澳門特別行政區政府與泰王國政府互免簽證協定》。

    的協定

    獲得中華人民共和國政府正式授權簽訂本協定的中華人民共和國澳門特別行政區政府與泰王國政府(以下簡稱“締約雙方”),

    為了便利締約雙方持有效護照人員的往來,就互免簽證事宜達成以下協議:

    第一條

    有效的中華人民共和國澳門特別行政區或泰王國護照的持有人,入、出或途經泰王國或中華人民共和國澳門特別行政區,按情況適用,免辦簽證,每次逗留不超過三十(30)日。

    第二條

    本協定第一條所述締約任一方有效的護照持有人,應於另一方向國際旅客開放的口岸入、出或途經該締約方,並遵照該方的出入境法律和規章辦理所需手續。

    第三條

    締約一方有效護照的持有人,在中華人民共和國澳門特別行政區或泰王國逗留時,按情況適用,應遵守另一方的法律和規章。

    第四條

    本協定不限制締約任一方有權限當局的如下權力,按情況適用:禁止不受歡迎人員進入中華人民共和國澳門特別行政區或泰王國,或縮短、終止其逗留。

    第五條

    (一) 締約雙方應當自本協定簽字之日起三十(30)日內,交換本協定第一條所述護照的樣本。

    (二)在本協定有效期內,締約一方如更新其護照式樣,應當提前六十(60)日通知締約另一方,並提供新護照樣本。

    第六條

    由於國家安全、公共秩序、衛生等原因,締約雙方均可臨時中止實施本協定的全部或者部份條款。但在協定的中止之前及其隨後的恢復之前,締約一方應當透過適當途徑及時通知締約另一方。

    第七條

    本協定自簽訂日起六十(60)日後生效,並自此保持有效,除非締約任一方將其終止本協定的意圖提前六十(60)日書面通知另一方。

    下簽署者已獲各自政府批准,並簽署本協定以茲證明。

    本協定于二○○二年十一月十六日在澳門特別行政區簽訂,一式兩份,每份都用中文、泰文、英文寫成, 三種文本同等作準。 如在解釋上遇有分歧,以英文文本為準。

    AGREEMENT BETWEEN THE GOVERNMENT OF THE

    MACAO SPECIAL ADMINISTRATIVE REGION

    OF THE PEOPLE'S REPUBLIC OF CHINA

    AND

    THE GOVERNMENT OF THE KINGDOM OF THAILAND

    ON EXEMPTION OF VISA REQUIREMENTS

    The Government of the Macao Special Administrative Region of the People's Republic of China, that has been duly authorized to conclude this Agreement by the Government of the People's Republic of China and the Government of the Kingdom of Thailand (hereinafter referred to as "the Contracting Parties")

    Desiring to facilitate exchange of visits of people of the Contracting Parties by the exemption of visa requirements for holders of their valid passports;

    Have agreed as follows:

    Article I

    Holders of valid passports of the Macao Special Administrative Region of the People's Republic of China and holders of valid passports of the Kingdom of Thailand shall be exempted from visa requirements for entry into, exit from or transit through the Kingdom of Thailand or the Macao Special Administrative Region of the People's Republic of China, as the case maybe, for a period of stay not exceeding thirty (30) days.

    Article II

    Holders of valid passports of either Contracting Party referred to in Article I of this Agreement shall enter into, exit from or transit through ports open to international travellers of the other Contracting Party and go through necessary formalities in accordance with the immigration laws and regulations of that Contracting Party.

    Article III

    Holders of valid passports of either Contracting Party shall abide by the laws and regulations of the other Contracting Party during their stay in the Macao Special Administrative Region of the People's Republic of China or the Kingdom of Thailand, as the case may be.

    Article IV

    This Agreement does not restrict the right of the competent authorities of either Contracting Party to prohibit persons it considers undesirable from entering into or to shorten or terminate their stay in the Macao Special Administrative Region of the People's Republic of China or the Kingdom of Thailand, as the case may be.

    Article V

    1. The Contracting Parties shall exchange samples of their passports referred to in Article I within thirty (30) days after signing the Agreement.

    2. During the period of validity of this Agreement, either Contracting Party shall inform the other Contracting Party of any change to the form of such passports sixty (60) days before its introduction and furnish the other Contracting Party with samples of new passports.

    Article VI

    Either Contracting Party may temporarily suspend the implementation of this Agreement partly or wholly on grounds of national security, public order and health. However, the other Contracting Party shall be notified in advance of such suspension of the Agreement and its subsequent resumption through appropriate channels.

    Article VII

    This Agreement shall enter into force sixty (60) days after signing and shall, thereafter, remain in force unless either Contracting Party inform of its intention to terminate it by giving sixty (60) days prior written notice to the other.

    In Witness Whereof, the undersigned duly authorized by their respective Governments, have signed this Agreement.

    Done in the Macao Special Administrative Region of the People's Republic of China, on 16th November 2002, in duplicate in Chinese, Thai and English languages, all three texts being equally authentic. In case of divergency in interpretation, the English text shall prevail.
